Bidra med feedbackWas traveling local on Sunday and hungry after a busy morning and afternoon. We decided on Italian fare and wanted someplace we had not tried before other than the usual local spots around the area. My wife suggested Gia's Restorante in Uxbridge and I'm glad she did, it was outstanding. I had the spaghetti bolognese and my wife had chicken florentina and the food was as good or better as any meal that I've had in the North End of Boston. Our server, Sarah, was polite and attentive and really made us feel welcome. The Tiramisu was fresh and light, as good as any I've ever had in the past. The building is unassuming from the outside but once inside, the decor is very welcoming and warm, there is a fireplace and it has that old world feel to it. It was a great experience and we will be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pasta Bolognese, Tiramisu
Drinks were good and we had appetizers that were tasty also. Big downside is we had to cut our dinner short as we were swarmed with fruit flies. It was pretty gross. People were covering their wine glasses with napkins and a friend got a whiskey drink with a big bug on the rim Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
Sara was professional, kind, and attentive to us while dining with our one month old baby. Food was delicious. Wouldn’t change a thing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food is good but it's still the old oyster cabin atmosphere. Hasn't been any updates to property since the 80s. Don't be in a hurry when going there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
