Taco Giro Mexican Grill - Vail

Took my wife here for a Friday night dinner....had never been there before.. thought we'd try em out......we had planned anyhow.... There were two other partys seated and two waitresses just hanging out at the counter ignoring us. After we were seated, we sat unattended for about 20 minutes. No water, chips, no help/ service period. We left and went elsewhere. This place gets 2 stars because a woman setup in the corner (3rd party) offered us some beer samples. So she gets the 2 stars then we left. The two waitresses stare and said nothing as we slowly got up and walked out. ??? Crazy experience but I do know one thing.....we wont be back.

Last minute drop into this Taco Giro restaurant.. Quite the surprise when you open up the menu, thought it was just going to be a taco place but they have everything including an extensive seafood menu and drink selection.. We had a large group and they were able to get all 10’of us at one table.. chips and salsa were brought out right away. They have great salsa with flavor and a little spice to it..Most of us had the tacos which were really yummy and everyone was raving about the beans. One couple tried the fajitas and they were amazing. We will look forward to going back and trying some of the items on the seafood section The restaurant offers inside dining, bar seating and a patio..

The service was not good tonight. Usually it's decent never excellent. The food is always really good. Tonight I was pretty annoyed though, I didn't get refills offered and when I asked for my chips she grabbed the bowl and walked away obviously annoyed and when I thanked her for bringing them she ignored me and walked away. There was like 6-8 tables with three waitresses, I don't understand how in such a small place they struggle to be attentive to all our needs with the need of micromanagment. Probably won't try again.

The carne asada was overcooked. Service was slow and
