Excessivamente caro para uma qualidade que se fica apenas pela média.

Almoço com a escolha de um dos pratos do salmão grelhado dia com batata o soco com excelente apresentação e qualidade, o que nos torna agradavelmente surpreendido! rara em um prato do dia', até mesmo a própria escolha para tal. Note-se que o restaurante está em um nível muito acima da área, com qualidade a preço acessível. O serviço é cuidadoso e amigável em um quarto muito ocupado. As sobremesas são variadas e a escolha é difícil, pelo bom aspecto de todos. Eu comi um delicioso arroz doce cremoso como poucos! e eu ainda compartilhei um bolo de biscoitos fantástico. Eu recomendo, claro!

Fonte d'Ouro was our first restaurant in the North of Portugal. Went on a Sunday afternoon and the entire restaurant was filled. However, we were greeted warmly and shown a table in the back that was just perfect. Ordered water and wine which came quickly. After ordering one fish and one pork dish our server, Rute came back to double check on how my wife wanted her meat cooked. All this with a huge crowd. When our food arrived we asked her name and she said Ruth because that was easier for English speakers to say. She took the time to give us a quick lesson in Portuguese pronunciation. We ate at the restaurant couple of more times and each meal was delicious, the wine cold and the service perfect. Each time we went Rute was giving us hints on where to go, i.e, Acores for fish and the Wednesday Market in Valenca. It will be a restaurant we will return to.
