Le Chene Vert - Valençay

We were looking for a restaurant in valençay and we saw the green oak, we were not disappointed, simple but good meals, that's all we ask, dessert, cheese plate, and I who loves goat cheese (this is the region,) I have enjoyed it. good value quality price.

A priori we did not have a chance if we believe positive opinions. Unfortunately, in the menu at 12.50, the "creck grilled" requested bleeding turned into a hard and very terracotta filandrous meat, in any case, it did not look like rumsteck. our surprise was not too pleased to the person who was in charge of the service, but rather courteous at the beginning of the meal. We didn't have time to discuss this subject finally without real importance and finished the meal with a cream with eggs without any taste (a lot of water in the bottom of the ramequin).Only the buffet of admissions was rather nice. As we were served well after the other tables while we had arrived among the first, I think there was no rumsteck. We have been taken for the tourists passing by, and it's a shame to see that this kind of attitude still exists in our country.

Very simple but a welcome and quality cuisine that make this meal a great value for money. a young and very professional boss/server in his work and a young cook as well but with great talent.

Very good service, good reception, excellent quality cuisine, excellent desserts, banal decoration. Good valençay wine.

A small terrace down a small road in valençay. has two steps of the cat. a pleasant welcome and a creative cuisto. a menu has 12, 50€ with a willful buffet with flavors according to the chef's mood, two dishes with homemade fries, local cheese tray or homemade dessert(crumble red fruit apples.) an exemplary value. We can make a fee, good for an affordable price. Bravo!
