Good Day Cafe - Vallejo

We went out for dinner and ordered the prime rib and beef stew. The menu listed oxtail stew, but that wasn’t what we received. The prime rib had great flavor but was quite tough. While the stew was delicious, the meat was also tough and would have benefitted from a longer simmer in the broth. On a positive note, we tried the lumpia appetizer, which was really good! We might consider giving the place another chance and returning for brunch. Unfortunately, dinner was disappointing, and we left around 7 PM when the restaurant was nearly empty.
