Duffy's Place - Valparaiso

All the adults in my family went out to celebrate my sister's birthday and decided to start with Duffy's for food and drinks. The place was packed and though we had to wait a bit for service (understandably) the service was nice and the food was good. Good place when you want to get good food at a bar!

Duffy’s is an awesome bar to go to in Valparaiso when you don’t want to be overcrowded. Music and dancing is all around, but because their space is larger they don’t get packed shoulder to shoulder. A great place to bring a friend or group for hanging out. Steve and Matt are magnificent bartenders. There is a more relaxing yet fun vibe at Duffy’s place.

The wings were quite good, and I enjoyed the outdoor patio. However, be cautious when walking out there, as the floor leading to the patio has a rather steep incline that can catch you off guard if you're not aware of it. It was my first visit, and I tripped twice!

Additionally, my wings were served cold. I was told they would be ready in half an hour, but I arrived in just 25 minutes, and it was clear they had been sitting out for a while. It is what it is, but I hope they keep these things in mind moving forward. Normally, everything here is excellent, so it was a real letdown this time.

I normally don't like bars, but I can't get enough of Duffys. It may sound strange, but it's true. They have the BEST WINGS IN TOWN—no competition whatsoever. To be honest, I haven't tried anything else on the menu since I've mostly just enjoyed the beer. The new porch is a great addition, especially if you're planning to eat.
