First off, this place is greatA little hole in the wall, with real deal Ethiopian food.

The whole reason this is an above average rating is all because of the lady boss _We came in on a holiday Saturday and this place was incredibly slow.

The food was great and the staff were very friendly and patient._It was a real new experience totally worth to try

I have visited all athiopian restaurants in Vancity had bad experiences, ok experiences, and this one was simply the best little ethiopian restaurant ever. Injeera bread was allways soft as it should be, all the dishes very delicious. The service great. I recently tried visiting it but they are gone from the spot they were on Broadway close to Fraser street. Does anyone know where they are now?

We found this little gem by accident, when our usual Ethiopian spot was closed. While the decor is lacking, the food makes up for it, by a mile! We've tried all Ethiopian restaurants in the Vancouver / Burnaby area, and this one has the best food at the best prices, by far! We recently tried one of the top rated Ethiopian restaurants in Vancouver, and while the decor was great, the food and service was only ok. The owners of Red Sea are friendly AND attentive, and will help you out, if you've not tried Ethiopian food before. The food here really is 2nd to none, and a great dining adventure if you've not tried it before. We dine out, for Ethiopian food 1-3 times per month and can confidently recommend this place, so delicious!
