Subway - Vandalia

Horrible they left a 15 year old to run the place because the manager wouldn't come in for 2 hours. And asked for a person visiting her father that was in the hospital to come in. Like come people get it together. Also update your hours online.

Paid $2 for extra bacon but discovered after arriving home it was missing. Called store was told I had to drive the sandwich back to the store (15 minute drive) to have it remade. Otherwise, they wouldn't offer any other compensation.... Are you kidding me???? Never eating at Subway again!!!

This used to be a really well-run, friendly place to get lunch. About a year ago, the personnel changed and it now is a place that lacks friendliness and even worse, a place that doesnt seem to care about the quality of the food or service. Our orders are usually wrong, and most of the people that work there have an attitude that is better suited for the Department of Motor Vehicles. We use to visit at least weekly and each time we go now, we are left disappointed and resolved to get lunch elsewhere the next time.

Honestly hard to say, the owners/workers before at least cared enough to read an order and make it correctly.. i come here on my lunch quite often, so i put it in online and its almost like they don't fully read the order. Very frustrating when I can't come back to get it fixed.

The experience, in order of importance: **Atmosphere:** Upon entering, I was surprised to find no customers and noticed three staff members engaged in a game of grab-ass. **Service:** I had to wait for their game to conclude before one of them could finally make their way from the dining area to the sandwich-making station. This should have been a prompt response as soon as I walked in. **Food:** The tuna portion was disappointingly small. To make matters worse, when they used the scooper to flatten out the tuna, I spotted what looked like clumps of dried tuna stuck to the rounded side of the scoop. Those clumps ended up in my sandwich, adding an unwelcome crunch that I found quite off-putting. Overall, it was a subpar experience that felt more like a Subway than a sandwich shop.
