We had a lovely meal here. The service was great, not too fast but not too slow. The food tasted home made and authentic Italian style. Starters were on the expensive side for two bits of focaccia bread with bacon and mozerella on (7.95E). They were tasty though. Mains of Lasagne and pasta bolognaise – YUM. One half bottle of red wine, one chocolate sundae, one Sambuca total 90E. We felt good value for what we had. Wished we had found this place earlier as we would have defintily gone again. Thank you.

During the course of a really enjoyable short break in Bayonne, we visited this restaurant for lunch. We had 2 pasta dishes, a beer and a glass of wine. Food was fine, service was efficient other than the fact the waitress was dismissive of our attempt to order in French! We were told to pay our bill at the counter. I was presented with a bill for 80 euro for 4 items. I indicated to the staff member that this was incorrect. He immediately produced the correct bill for 40 euro. No cause for complaint but the speed at which the correct bill was produced, the fact there was no question as to where we sat or what we ate stuck us as odd. Nor was there any apology offered. We feel that there may have been a deliberate attempt to over-charge us, maybe taking advantage of the fact we were non- French speakers! However, we both READ French quite well. I would advise tourists to look closely at your bill. A shame , this encounter was the only negative experience in a lovely city.

Great pasta dinner and a selection of sliced meats. Also had many pizza options. They had something for everyone. A good choice if you have kids. If you order a bottle of wine, you go in the back to pick one out with your server. I wasn’t prepared for that. Desserts were big. This was a filling dinner. Good service.

My boyfriend and I came here for an anniversary dinner. We stumbled across this place and are really happy that we did. The atmosphere is amazing, we went on a Tuesday night so not crowded. The servers were very kind and attentive despite coming in close to closing. The food was phenomenal we got the fresh made pasta, and escalope milanaise c’est était délicieux!We will definitely be coming back here again

Plates. We had trouble finishing. rather good dishes, quality but few ingredients like large shrimp in spaghetti. It’s pretty good, the restaurant and the courteous service. Maybe a little expensive.
