Royal Gourmet - VARENNA

We had an amazing meal with fantastic service. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed an incredible view of the lake. Reviews of this restaurant are highly unfair, we were hesitant to go but cannot recommend this enough. While it is more expensive than other nearby restaurants, it is still fairly priced and definitely worth a visit for a romantic occasion.

Beautiful setting by the water with stunning views! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Warm and welcoming staff. Sitting waterfront was like out of a movie. Gorgeous! We didn't want to leave!

We wandered in on a whim walking around Varenna. The host made us look at the menu before seating us because he said the food was atypical and gourmet. We still liked the options so we ended up having a slow and lovely lunch there with lovely views. The food and service were very good and wines by the glass were nice. I would go there again and recommend it for a nice calm stop in Varenna. They have another restaurant in the front of the hotel we did not try. It is not the cheapest there but worth it for food quality and views.

Esperienza unica e rilassante. Dopo una lunga passeggiata tra Varenna e FiumeLatte, ci siamo fermati per un drink. Il bar, oltre alla strada principale, è accessibile dal giardino botanico regalando una vista lago rara e spettacolare. È una tappa assolutamente da fare a Varenna.
