Old Ice House Restraunt - Varnville

I initially decided to try out this new restaurant, hoping for a new dining experience. The food turned out to be delicious, but I couldn't ignore the racism I witnessed. There is clear segregation in the restaurant, with African American employees working in the back while Caucasian employees socialize and serve customers in the front. I felt uncomfortable and received dirty looks from the staff, making me feel unwelcome. Despite the diverse crowd of customers, African Americans do not receive the same level of hospitality. I believe in treating everyone with respect and will no longer support a business where I am not valued. I urge other African Americans to avoid this establishment, where we may only be seen as sources of money. All customers deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Food was excellent, fresh, hot and entirely enough!

Went here to eat again today, first time after covid closure. Wow, I think its even better than before! Delicious food from the buffet,served to us at our table. Fried chicken is THE BEST I've had. Juicy and flavorful. Everything I ate was cooked perfectly. Restaurant was very clean,and diners were spaced out accordingly. I'll be back!

I just can’t quit that fried chicken and the fried squash!! Not to mention the mac cheese????. I’m not much into a country buffet, but this one is an exception. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the facilities are immaculate.

Really good food, VarnvilleHampton needs some fresh new restaurants. Will be ordering more often from yall
