Bidra med feedbackLoved the food and the service! Everything was very tasty. A bit pricey for the size of the dishes but they were all delicious!
Had a fantastic meal! Dropped in an hour before close on a Sunday, and we had a great meal that completely hit the spot. The waiter was very prompt and polite and our food came out quickly! Had the goat curry and the chennai chicken...More
Visited last Sunday. We were looking for food to take out, but our choice of restaurant was too busy. Then we notice this restaurant flashing take out. We enter into the restaurant and was greeted by the owner, she offered us the menu as my friend looking around, we changed our mind and choose to sit and order. At the time no other customer was in. We had one on one service. According to the owner, their choices touch all regions of India. But little more of Goa. I am no expert on Indian food. I ordered Kadhai chicken with naan. My friend ordered fish dish with dhal. Both of us enjoyed our choice. I request mild flavour and it was just great. To go with my dinner, a nice light beer recommended by the owner and the mango lassi was very tasty. We had a very enjoyable conversation with owners and they answered all our queries. The restaurant has a nice airy atmosphere and clean, very light old Bollywood music playing in background. Not a big restaurant. The serve few choices of imported beer from Indian. As other reviewers point it's bit pricy, but the dinner was fulfilling.
We're not often in the Vaughn Mills Mall area but found ourselves there yesterday. We had been referred to this restaurant a few months ago by an Indian gentleman to try their tandoori. A small, family run restaurant with pleasant decor and attentiveness, we were instantly at ease.Menu items are pricier than elsewhere but this is a tourist area and the ingredients are seemingly fresh, made to order.Yes, the tandoori chicken was done well and retained its moistness. Chana Masala not on the menu (will be soon) but still able to order. Aloo Gobi tasty not as heavy as we have experienced. Was nice to see Pani puri on the menu as it is one of my favourites and I don't see it offered usually. Butter naan hot and fresh to accompany. The menu had some interesting fusion selections that I would like to return to try if we're ever in the area again. We left feeling full, satisfied after an enjoyable meal.
We arrived at 4:30 pm and restaurant doesnt open until 5pm and had to wait for service. The food was average but very over priced for what you get. Try the Kingfisher beer.
