Bidra med feedbackI was in Venosa in motion with two friends and walking in the square of the beautiful castle has caught us this pizzeria. Although it was still early, the owner Carmine, very kind and helpful, made us sit and served us a beautiful daisy: very good and well cooked prepared with a percentage of flour of ancient grains of the territory. Really a nice experience to try again calmly!! !
Intrigued by the many positive reviews but also negative we went to this pizzeria at lunch. I must say that we were really excited by the goodness of pizza, very light and digestible, the great service and the lovely place with view Castle. Experience to make absolutely and highly recommended.
I read and read reviews and probably the explanation is that in the meantime management or pizza maker has changed. The tables under the porch are actually on the sidewalk close to the street, you will eat noise and smog (certain, in front of a beautiful castle) that will share an insignificant pizza for taste, dough and raw materials. The real Neapolitan, made only one day a week and therefore theoretically out of the ordinary, was really nothing. To the other I asked to add the ham, which was hard, salato, stopposo and clearly on a terminal part of the piece (but to our observations it was replied that it was Parma, the best. We removed it and left it in the dish, but clearly paid in full). The service is mediocre, the boys are certainly not scurvy, but they are obviously not interested in your comfort (the two table has a ridiculous size), your demands and your satisfaction. They didn't even know the name of the only beer at the present plug. Little screech at the time of the account, which was odd and the boy who served us took off the pebbles, then the claim to the cash. A bit of internal communication would not hurt, and few cents do not change life to anyone, but certainly change the perception of courtesy and hospitality with which you offer a service. The cost, although on average, is exaggerated compared to the quality of food and service. Not recommended.
Under a cool porch, in front of the castle of the Balzo we enjoyed a delicious pizza, seasoned by kindness and sympathy. We recommend, pizza with raw peppers
We arrived in the city in late evening and the first contact with Venosa was dinner at the Porticato, it was so much that we did not eat such a good and light pizza, really compliments!! !
