Maria's Mexican - Verdi

I just had a chicken burrito at this restaurant. The place was clean and nicely decorated, and the service was quick. However, I'm not sure I got the order I intended. I asked for a chicken super burrito but didn't read the description closely enough. What I received was a tortilla filled with a lot of chicken, along with rice, beans, and sauce, making it more like an enchilada. I ended up having to eat it with a knife and fork, which wasn't what I had in mind since I was hoping to eat while driving. It was tasty, but definitely not what I expected.

The Mexican food here is absolutely delicious! It was date night, and we shared a margarita that was delightful. We enjoyed two baskets of chips with salsa, which was also fantastic. The main dishes were incredible! I had flan for dessert, while he ordered sopaipilla, both of which were exceptionally tasty. I give this place 5 stars and can’t wait to return!

This seemingly hidden gem turned out to be a delightful surprise. The spacious dining areas, lively music, and the incredibly gracious and attentive hospitality from the staff create an inviting atmosphere that’s both vibrant and relaxing. The energy at Maria’s is truly remarkable. The menu features traditional dishes that stay true to their Mexican roots, offering an array of aromas and flavors that will satisfy all your senses. Sometimes, on your life journey, you need an experience that lifts your spirits and reassures you that your path is worth pursuing a little longer. Maria’s is a perfect reminder that there is beauty and balance in the world. I truly felt that spirit during my visit.

The food was very good. Drinks were delivered quickly. Don't eat much longer. And the place was full. I was very happy with our meal. I have dinner and drinks for three adults plus tip $60 you can't beat that. And we had to go all the packages. every time I come back to Reno Verde, I will eat here

This Mexican restaurant is in my opinion the best in Reno (even though technically its in Verdi). Atmosphere is excellent and the food is better. We have been going here for years and is a regular favorite.
