The Braum's Ice Cream Dairy Store is an old style convenience store, ice cream store and fast food restaurant rolled into one. The store in Vernon, TX was bustling and the staff were both professional and amazingly friendly, despite the large crowd. For the experience alone, stopping at Braum's Ice Cream Dairy Store is worth it! The food and ice cream shakes are good, too! I and a friend were just driving through and needed a place to stop for lunch. I'm glad we stopped!

Braum’s has been a favorite of mine since moving closer to the north Texas area. It had good food and good service. However that has changed in the past 2 months. The food is tough and dry, the chicken sandwiches tonight were tough and dry yet the buns were soggy. The chicken tenders are tiny. The fries are either over cooked or too salty. The ice cream is good but the shakes have no flavor. And the staff looks like they hate their life. It’s extremely disappointing and not worth the money.

Service: Food: Ambiance: Price: Bathrooms are clean and spacious. It is convenient in a convenience store, right on the highway. Servers were attentive and food was delicious and quick to come. Burgers and frits felt healthy (not greasy or oily). We ate 5 people and a child and paid 42. They have a lot of seating, but the place seemed popular so it could be packed a few days. You have a lot of parking and it is right in the place. The only disadvantage could be the seat for larger groups, and there is only one bathroom for man and one for women. highly recommended if you are on the street and have to eat good fast food at a good price!

Great place to eat. Zella took our order and was a treat. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. We were very tired and the stop rejuvenated us. Wish we lived closer
