27 Street Grill - Vernon

Did not even get to place my order. All I was looking for was a gluten free BLT. I already knew that they had gluten free bread. So this is something that is relatively likely to work. She asked what I would like for a side. I asked what they had for sides. After hearing rice, and fries I asked whether they were gluten free. She said there isn 't much that is gluten free and suggested a fruit cup for an upcharge. I asked if the cooking staff would know the ingredients in the sides. Her answer was an eye roll followed by all I know is that we have gluten free bread and ? (something I cannot remember) My frustration at her unwillingness to help was beginning to show, so I just turned and walked away. She called after me, loud enough for all of her guests to hear Have a good evening and don 't come back! I 've been a customer on the two prior days, with servers that polite and helpful, but I won 't be back, ever. And I don 't suggest anyone else bothers with this restaurant either.

Terrible breakfast. Their signature hashbrowns had barely been introduced to the grill. Cooked hashbrowns don 't squeak when cooked.

Great service and delectable Breakfasts... even served in the afternoon! Located in the Village Green Hotel Complex across from the shopping centre. We will be back!

I've been here before and it's always been pretty decent. Not amazing but good for us, with friendly staff and decent food. We come here often when i visit my grandparents and havent been here for a while and I don't know what's changed but the food and service were awful... Waitresses walked past us and ignored us as we waited to be seated. They took forever to take our order and we waited 45 minutes for our food, all the while watching people around us get served. And looking for our waitress proved futile. She finally appears with our food, no apology, drops it and leaves. My grandmothers waffle was cold, no butter melted on it, moms eggs were way overcooked, my hollandaise sauce was cold. It's like it was ready and was forgotten about. Also i ordered a chocolate milk cuz im a kid at heart and they'll charge you $5 to have that gross chocolate syrup put into milk... $5... What? Our waitress finally came by to ask how it was, but kept walking, ignoring us trying to tell her the issues. When we were done and paying, my grandmother finally was able to tell her the issues. The waitress replied right away, i brought it out as soon as it was ready. Very defensive, which makes us think she did not. Then says we shouldve said something, she would've had it remade. We told her that 1. She ignored us when we tried and 2. We didn't want to wait 45 minutes. The waitress didn't seem bothered, just kind of shrugged and left us alone. I think we are going to be finding a new breakfast place in Vernon.

The staff are very friendly and very accommodating but the food is pretty mediocre and the apparently the pus wasn't open that day, Monday of a long weekend so the drink selection was pretty slim only about 6 drinks to choose from)
