Okanagan Bake House - Vernon

Best seed bread ever made been buying from here for years and just love the bread. Yes it is expensive but so is all bread Bake House Bread has solid volume. Just tried the DBH Souital (Fruit bread) I’m hooked ?. Do not live in Vernon for several years now but still drive from Kelowna to get their bread. Excellent quality.

Asked for 2 loafs of sliced bread. The lady with wavy streaked hair put the loaves on the counter, I used one finger to turn one loaf in a bag around and said could I have another loaf, this one is squished a bit on the end. She said NO, YOU TOUCHED IT already with your finger, and walked away from me and washed her hands after serving me and a customer just before me. Didn't know there was a policy, you touch it you bought it. Or is there a policy?? Love the bread there, been buying bread from them since I moved to Vernon.

This was my first time at Okanagan Bake House. The two employees inside were very friendly. They sell bread, noodles, sauce, and pastries.I ordered the brownie and Boston Cream donut with whipped cream on top. Both pastries were delicious.They have a single 2-person table for anyone who wants to eat inside.It was $7.88 after tax for a donut and a brownie here.I highly recommend this spot if you're ever amongst all of the car dealerships and need to take a break.

A must try and now my go to! With one visit they converted me to a regular: I tried the rum balls, Nanaimo bar, date square and cookies they were all delicious! Tip go earlier in the day for the best selection
