Restaurant Masson - Veytaux

Wir waren an einem Samstag-Abend zum Essen. Zur Auswahl stand eine kleine, aber feine Menu-Karte oder ein 4-Gang Menu (ich nehme an dies wechselt je nach Saison). Die Wein-Auswahl hält sich mit schweizer und französischen Weinen begrenzt, was aber ganz in Ordnung ist und zum regionalen Essen gut passt (evtl. könnte man bei den schweizer Weinen die Auswahl noch etwas anheben).Das Essen war ganz gut. Sehr freundlich war der Service und wir fühlten uns wirklich willkommen.Die Preise sind für Essen und Wein sehr günstig, abgesehen von der Flasche Wasser (1l Evian für Chf 12.-) und dem Kinder-Sirup (Chf 5.-), welche bei der Schlussrechnung leider einen faden Geschmack hinterlässt. Fazit: gerne wieder einmal, das nächste mal jedoch nur noch mit Essen und Wein ;-)

We stayed at Hotel Masson in June, and were too lazy to go to town for dinner. The restaurant did not disappoint. We selected items recommended by the waitress and were very pleased.

The food was great and the service was quick and friendly . Everything you order would taste delicious. Must visit if in montreux.

An old building, nice staff, really helpful. Hotel offers you a transportation card which may be used to Montreux, Vevey and discounts in some visits. Rooms are not comfortable, no soundproof windows, walls and room door. There was dust on the table, there was a bad smell in all areas of hotel. Breakfast was really enough.

We've been in Hotel Masson with my family for a weekend. The hotel is 194 y.o. and it's super cozy (and now, all decorated for Christmas . The staff was really nice and helpful, and the food was delicious. Merci!
