Fountain Restaurant - Victoria

Good Food, semi-okay service. Takeout on Friday night, yes busy everywhere. I had placed my takeout order online, and was at the restaurant on time for pick-up. Stood at the cashier/hostess desk for 5+ min before someone acknowledged me. People werebeing seated from behind me even though they had only been there a minute. I would suggest they just acknowledge people waitingwith a Hello, we will be with you in a moment . Nothing worse than feeling like your an inconvenience to them. Lots of othergreat restaurants that would like my business.

The food last night was actually quite good. I give it a 5 star!

Bring a Chinese friend along and order off the Chinese menu!! 1000x better than the westernized food they offer to regular folks : my favourite is the deep fried pork intestine dipped in sweet and sour sauce, or the jelly fish!

I noticed that this restaurant was always busy, so decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. I personally love the fried rice and the ginger beef. the lemon chicken is very good. delicious Canadian Chinese. had there been 5 stars, but it can be slow to get the food and the personal is kind of healing. asked for hack sticks and received a fork, there was back and got hack sticks. I thought it was funny.

Order them to eat by phone or personally for taking over for the last few years. the restaurant is in the regular full of sitting diners during the main times. less diner during the rest of time. there are plenty of free parking available. the employees are always busy feeding in pickup pads. the restaurant is quite cozy. General portions, tastes good and there are rest for lunch the next day. eating is not oversalted for me, so after a meal as in some restaurants I don't have to consume a lot of water: the prices are fair. always happy with my food. sometimes the order is not available in estimated waiting time. this is to be expected as restaurant is full of dine in patronen. then there is the problem of the personal. this was a common thema with companies everywhere. grateful that the service is not a carbon paper by bc ferries' motto! how to keep my schnapps cabinet, so I will shop in the schnapps shop over the restaurant and wait for food to arrive. excellent opportunity to multi-task.
