Fujiya Foods - Victoria

I love how affordable Fujiya is! I have been coming here since I was young with my family and I am always impressed by their sushi rolls and bowls. The takoyaki, fried oysters, and tempura are all delicious. Don't miss the tasty poke cup! They also offer bento lunch sets with a variety of items. I appreciate their selection of grocery items as well. It can get crowded, so be sure to arrive early if you want to grab a bowl, bento, or specific items!

The restaurant always offers affordable pricing on their sushi and fresh dishes. It's a great place to find quality food at a low cost. Recently, they have been making more food available later in the day, making it convenient to pick up on the way home from work or school (around 3 pm). In the past, they would run out quickly around this time, but now there is an abundance of fresh, warm food available. There are still plenty of sushi options in the fridge as well.

I have been here several times and have always been able to find what I need. Today, I tried their sushi and it meets all of my expectations of what good sushi should taste like. Simple and yummy. I would recommend avoiding some restaurants' takeout and getting sushi here instead. I also got my New Year's mochi today, all set for 2023. Happy New Year!

Love this place, Spicy Karaage Bowl is a masterpiece(Spicy though). It's more delicious than eating in Japan. This place is very popular to both Japanese and Canadian. I hope one day they will open a branch around Langford. Even only bentos. Please...!

Fujiya is one of the best of a generally mediocre Victoria food supplier community. Store too small. Product range is varied but does not include large sizes. Still prices are good and there is nowhere else. They need 5 times the space!
