We explored the craft shop filled town of Victoria-By-The-Sea, and stopped for lunch at the Lobster Barn that is located on the wharf. We were greeted at the door and taken to a table without a wait. The waitress took our drink order and after delivering our beverages took our food order. Their chowder is delicious, and that was followed by fish and chips. Fish was an excellent haddock, and the batter was crispy. Service was very friendly and food was excellent. Went there for lunch with a few people and had a great experience. The food was good, I had a lobster roll which was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and added to the positive experience there. Parking: Plenty of parking available on or near pier. The first week they opened it was great! I had the kettle chip nachos!! It was so good. Then we went there a month later and it changed to waffle fries and a lot of deep Fried food that I can make at home . I ask the waitress what happened and she said they don’t make them that way anymore I was very disappointed. The next week after that we went back with my family of 7 when I asked about the lobster rolls I was told it is canned lobster and that fresh was too expensive. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. Feeling like they’re just here to get rich off the tourist and no longer take pride in the food. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars- it was THAT good! Food was top notch (best lobster roll I’ve had on our trip- and best lobster roll I’ve tried across all the Maritime provinces Ontario)! Generous portions, fabulous atmosphere, and very calm sea side vibes. I really wish I didn’t live in Toronto, because I want to come back for seconds so badly!!! Thank you for the most wonderful last meal we had in PEI!
