Bidra med feedbackThis is a hidden jewel of local restaurant! It's hidden in a friendly old school district and we were out there for a vacation girl night. The place has many beer choices and a good selection of chicken wing flavors. We loved the wings and they were crispy and juicy. The service was excellent. If you want casual food in a friendly environment, do not miss this jewel!
Literally some of the best wings around. Especially if you like garlic Parm. They are truly parm-y and cheesey and delicious. Great for dining in or getting takeout! Also you NEED to get the pizza logs. They're hand rolled and the best EVER.
Been going to Sal 's since college .. won 't mention when, but grunge was popular(! The address is correct, don 't be dissuaded as you drive down a normal residential street. Also don 't be alarmed at the sign outside telling you 'no bike colors allowed '. Once inside, sit down, order a 20oz PBR, double order medium, extra blue cheese, and fries with gravy. While waiting play a few games of keno, or check out the newly renovated men 's room (I 'm told the ladies have a great photo of Tiger Woods in their powder room . What 's to say about the wings, except best in Buffalo. I almost hesitate to post this as it 's a secret best not overrun (Duff 's or oversold (Anchor Bar or run out of business (Rooties . If you are from the area, its closest relative is Nine-Eleven Tavern on South Park and Bloomfield in South Buffalo (no relation to the terrorist attack, they were there first . The owners and staff of Sal 's are way more friendly though.
The wings are the same as I recall back in the 80s. You gotta love breaded wings!! Service is fantastic. However the place looks exactly as it did back in the 80s. Everyone there loves being there though so stop in and take a walk back in time!!Food: 5/5
