Salsa Picante - Village of Port Chester

I had a decent experience in 2023, but a year later, and I would never return here again. The tortilla chips served are cold and not fresh. The main dish, which was a traditional Mexican one, was chicken pieces full of bones, and very poor quality meat. Some thing has definitely changed within the last one year, and I would not trust the quality any longer.

Personally, I think it's a very nice place. The service is super good. At the bar there is a Colombian woman who serves wonderfully. She is always attentive and likes to talk.

Food was delicious!! They have great service, good portions and tasty drinks! Highly recommend them!

This place never disappoints. Every time me and my wife goes to the Capitol theater, we stop by Salsa Picante for dinner. The staff are always very attentive and the food always delicious. I personally love micheladas and the one here is just perfect in my opinion, my wife loves the spicy margarita they make. We always try something different in the menu, and so far everything tasted very good and authentic. Highly recommended!!!

I’ve ordered take out a couple times via Uber eats and I found the food to be mediocre, didn’t have much taste but I see other people like it; just wasn’t for me it had an odd mix of food just blended together like broccoli on tostadas with meats etc. it just didn’t go together.
