Agave Lounge - Village of Suffern

The Corn Tamale is absolutely amazing. As a Latino, I understand how challenging it is to prepare this dish authentically, so I really appreciate the effort that went into it. I will definitely be ordering again very soon. Great job!

The Chiles Rellenos and Queso Fundido were fantastic, providing enough food for four meals! The flavors were excellent, making for solid comfort food.

The Queso Fundido melted cheese had a great flavor, but the texture was more like jarred queso than shredded melted cheese. The Nachos are so generous that they’ll provide me with several meals!

Food was horrible! Id rather go to Taco Bell an eat then to order somthing from here what a disapointment saddddd.......saadddddd

This restaurant is a great spot for Mexican cuisine. My favorite part of the meal was the Hibiscus Flower Iced Tea; it was incredibly refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. I was particularly impressed by the ala Mexicana (Agave's Special Sauce). I tried a few dishes—while the honey habanero wings were just okay, the empanadas, served with lettuce and cheese, were quite tasty. The QuesaBirria was delicious, and the Al Pastor street tacos were decent. This place seems ideal for hosting events and enjoying a fun night out. I wish I had taken a photo of the QuesaBirria, as it was the standout dish of my visit.
