Opa! Greek Grill - Village of Warwick

My boyfriend and his family (five people in total) waited nearly two hours for our food. Everyone around us, including a group of eight, had been served, but we were still waiting. They assured us that our order would arrive soon, but it feels like we’ve been waiting forever. The service has been really disappointing.

I've visited this restaurant many times and usually have a good experience; however, today was an exception. My family and I waited over an hour for our food, while it seemed everyone who arrived after us received their meals and left. It's hard to believe a table of eight that came in after us was served first!

Opa's does a fantastic job of putting a creative twist on classic recipes and ingredients. The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. The grilled octopus and zucchini bites we tried were absolutely delightful. Whether you're looking to take out or dine in with family and friends, this is a great spot. If you find yourself in Warwick, you can’t go wrong choosing Opa's for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT EAT HERE. Spent $34 on a gyro and hamburger I just got a gyro from here for lunch on our way up to work (I’m not from up here I’m from brooklyn) and I asked for a gyro with no onions and what I got was over salted and DRY lamb meat inside old pita bread with 3 pieces of tomato. No lettuce no greens nothing. My fiancé got the burger and it was the exact same thing. No lettuce no tomato no nothing. Fried drenched in oil and so salty We threw out the food (which I hate doing) and went to the bagel place around the corner. The guy making the food sweating with no gloves and no hair net was on his phone the whole time and what’s crazy is their were beds of lettuce being prepared in a neat row behind the countertop… I mean….. People want top dollar for their service but want to serve poop for food. Idk how the cook tasted the meat and was like “yes this is good enough to serve other people” Appalling.

I’ve been here several times and the food has been decent but recent take out was very disappointing. The moussaka was flavorless with a layer of gummy béchamel but I was most disappointed by the horiatiki salad. It came with a watery vinegar dressing that contained zero olive oil. It’s supposed to be Greek food. Where’s the olive oil? On the positive side the zucchini bites were tasty and the fries had good flavor but I doubt we’ll return. Stop cutting corners and make the food the way it should be made even if you have to charge more.
