Sushi was great. Steak food overpriced. had to refill after water and they were not busy

Our reservation for a party of 8 was for 18:45 on a Saturday evening. It still took 40 minutes to sit down for the servants, per greeting at the door. Manager helped take our order, but my daughter was entered incorrectly. They quickly made a new dish, but it was much more rare than she wanted. Servers have worked hard and done a good job. Food was good, except the rare record of my daughter. They said they took the extra meal (the wrong order they entered) from our account. It's not that it should have been on the bill anyway. No other comp or extra appetizers offered in recognition of long waiting or wrong order. We could go back someday, but definitely not as a bigger party.

Visited Dakota to celebrate our anniversary, our server Stephanie was wonderful! We had a combination of steak and seafood which were both very nicely prepared. It was a quiet evening, the service overall was wonderful, And the value for the money was great. Great place, a distance from our hone, but hope to visit again!!

Second visit. Food and atmosphere are great. Glad I stumbled on this place and will return!

Food was excellent. Considering the place was not very crowded the service was really slow and inconsistent. Sushi entree came out a good 10 minutes before the cooked entrees. The seafood cooked entrees came out 3 5 minutes before the steak entrees. People at our table weren't sure to eat or wait or what. Drink service was also really spotty, ester were not kept topped off, had to ask for soft drink refill , lemonade was 5 10 minutes after ordered and bar drink was at least another 10 minutes after that.... Waitress was really nice, I have no clue if the service issues were her or the kitchen, but I suspect it was the kitchen... Food was EXCELLENT. Honestly, if the place was full I would not have major concerns about the service but there were maybe 4 table total seated the whole time we were there..... Overall beautiful place, excellent food, but service unacceptable for the price point. Maybe we hit an off night. Feel free to delete this review after the restaurant reads it I do not want to discourage people from going there so much as ask the establishment to up their game a bit.....
