Great service and delicious food. Large portion sizes and nice atmosphere. Definitely will return.

Food was Phenomenal. The waiter was so sweet , he was very informative. The salmon and grits was really good, the drinks taste very New Orleans. Real New Orleans food.

I finally got to try Lil Bit Nola in VA Beach. I had the shrimp and crab po ' boy aka The Beach . It was delicious!!! I subbed cheese grits instead of fries, but they brought both. And of course, you must order the beignets...on point. I will definitely return to try their other dishes. Great atmosphere and service.

Service, food, music and drinks were on point. Great music selection. Restaurant was very diverse which was a plus and clean. My appetizer, drink n food came out fresh, hottttt and fast. I tried the Bayou Gator (alligator ?)and Pasta Monica. I decided to do fried chicken bites vs sautéed chicken. Dat gator was tender, seasoned to perfection and and fried just right. Nice portions, well worth it. You gotta try this place!! Gonna try the one in Norfolk (Ghent) and compare.

Well , I've been to New Orleans , and I have been to venues outside of Nee Orleans who have an interpretation of the cuisine. I can not begin to overstate how unpleasant the food was , the presentation and the pictures are deceiving. We looked on Yelp and seen mixed reviews , I gave it a chance and was highly disappointed. We started with gator bites flash fried , and the mardis Gras shrimp . The bites had a nice batter, but it was wet like it didn't stay on the bites and the gator was extremely chewy . I've never had gator that was tough and chewy like fat attached to a steak kind of chewy . The shrimp was peculiar, it was extremely off putting , it was an overwhelming taste of vinegar for me . The gumbo , tasted like Campbell Beef stew , the roux for me just was not what I anticipated. It was also very salty , the meat and texture of the broth was very gritty like a bowl of sand ,I did not finish it . the étouffée , was like soup , it's not suppose to be that consistency , and it was devoid of flavor . J The marinated sweet tea wings, that where the Mango Habanero flavor , were prepared original style , not fried . The combination for me was a no , just wasn't pleased, they were not completely cooked all the way , pink in the middle . Customer service was decent , you seat yourself , but they had two servers for the entire restaurant. These two people were pleasant professional and efficient , but worked to capacity. They had to work the tables and be a bartender as well not fair to them and speaks to management and the inability to staff the establishment correctly so that every paying customer received the proper attention .
