Excellent welcome with a table near the fireplace. Very good cuisine. I recommend the sweetbreads, with a white Burgundy.

This place is very cute, when you’re sitting outside it’s right by the vineyards. The food is great and the wine also very good. Would definitely recommend calling ahead to book your seat outside as there aren’t too many.

Small restaurant at the foot of the vines and the vineyard. Good little address.

Inn in the Burgundian countryside which at first glance is insignificant in national terms; inside the room is rustic and tasteful, but the terrace in the Volnay vineyards is extraordinary with a view of the vineyard as far as the eye can see. The traditional cuisine is excellent, and the reasonably priced cellar allows you to choose a good local bottle. Pithiviers of beef fillet, foie gras and ham; the sweetbreads and fish mousseline soufflé are sublime…. If you pass near this Auberge des Vignes, a stop is necessary.
