Bidra med feedbackExpressed in idle conversation with the receptionist while awaiting a SIM card delivery, I turned the theme to Pho. Any places in Vung Tau that you would recommend? . She hesitated for a second: Minh Tam, this is the best! Moments before I left my room I had gegoogled Best Pho in Vung Tau on a Vietnamese food site (not tripadvi-sore), and SNAP, Minh Tam had the highest ratings. I went to the small Roadside shop, pointed to the bowl on the menu that I wanted, took my place and smelled the divine broth wafting over, while flying in confusing patterns rolled out invisible prices. First sip and I was a converter. Second swallow, a religious nut. This was the bowl you hope to find every time you enter a new shopfront or store. That exact bowl. Bread so clear, but deep and opaque in it's slim perfection, noodles soft but textured, beef a little on the chewing side, but does not leave negative. This is one of these bowls that would be served on your deathbed and you would not even glancing a glimpse of the forthcoming death, you would pour as much broth as you treat through your tamed mouth. Only a handful of places on Earth could come close. It's almost perfection.
Big place to eat, full of lunch, so many great choices
I used to come here a lot for a bowl of phở every morning. It tasted really good. It still does. However, the price has gone up quite a bit, and the bowl has gotten smaller. They even charge for the ice tea, which used to be free. I don't mind paying for good food, but the tactic is not acceptable. If you just want to try it out, I would recommend it. I just won't return here again.
40.000 vnd bowl, do not raise price on holidays.
Good pho. Nice and friendly.
