Bidra med feedbackThe host didn't correctly place the orders at our table, so the chef was understandably under-prepared and had to ask for more food. The rice was very undercooked and hard. My friend got the steak and lobster, which were both overcooked and tough. They haven't updated their menu prices, so we got charged $7 extra for a shared plate instead of the $5 that was listed on the menu. However, the manager did comp us an appetizer.
Come with a playful attitude and a big appetite! Our chef had good jokes and fun shenanigans for everyone at our table. He was very good at entertaining both the kids and the adults. This is not for people with a stuffy attitude! Come in, put your phone down, relax and be ready to laugh and eat and eat some more. The salmon was surprisingly just as good as the steak!
They have a great hibachi here. Loved the experience.
This place is wonderful! The restaurant is simply beautiful. The service is the definition of above and beyond! Our cook and waitress(wish I caught their names) were AMAZING! The cook who sings and plays instruments needs a raise! The waitress was the sweetest and kindest young lady you could ask for, super attentive and polite! As far as food, probably the best hibachi style food I've ever had, truly! Planning on bringing all my friends, family and in-laws to eat!Vegetarian options: They have veggie options on the menu and the they are well seasoned and cooked to perfection.Kid-friendliness: The table next to us had a baby and our cook was very cautious to not be too loud or upset the baby, so sweet!
The $6-$10 rolls are MINI rolls. I don't think they disclose that on the menu so keep that in mind. My favorite from the specialty rolls was the Volcano roll which they can fry ?. I also tried their pineapple mojito which was delicious. Oh, and if you like hot sake they have it.The atmosphere was nice, and it met expectations for a Hibachi place. The fish pond at the front has real fish which I think is a nice touch.I will definitely come back whenever I am in Waco.
