While it's part of a chain, the food appears to be prepared in small batches, ensuring it's quite fresh. The flavors were excellent! The pork adobo was tender and accompanied by a deep, rich broth. The pastries had a fantastic texture and robust flavors. All of this is topped off with very reasonable prices.
This is the only place I know of on Oahu that has Ube ice cream! The lechon and fried chicken are quite tasty, while the pancit is outstanding. The chicken adobo was just alright.
This is quite disappointing! My mom ordered Monggo beans, but instead, she received a food cup filled with Monggo soup that had only a scant amount of beans. On a positive note, the Spanish rolls and pandesal were enjoyable. However, the texture of the Halo-Halo was all over the place, and it just didn't suit my taste. I did find the tapioca smoothies to be pleasant, and the Filipino treats were quite nice. The service was pretty relaxed, and parking was surprisingly convenient. As a Filipino with Mexican roots, born in Hawaii and primarily raised in the Filipino culture, I have a good understanding of it. Overall, I would rate this place 3.8 out of 5 stars.
