Poke Market, Llc

This is a window service counter in downtown Hilo, but it might as well be a window into the soul of Hawaiian food. Served along side fresh poke is mashed taro and well seasoned imitation crab salad. Don’t missed the musubis(rice balls), packing just as much flavors. There’s 15 min parking in the parking lot next door, or you can try your luck at street parking.

Don’t order after 3pm. Google map shows it opens till 5, we ordered on the website, and arrived at 4pm to pick up, only to witness the staff locking the door. He was aware of our order and even called out my name, but only gave a cold reply that they were closed at 3 pm and would refund us. They should have closed the online order, or at least contacted us especially that they were still in store and saw our order. And we didn’t receive the refund.

Very good poke!!! But it is pretty pricey and small portions.

I had the Spicy Ahi bowl and it was unbelievably delicious!! The sides were awesome and the staff were super friendly and fast. I will be back ???
