This place takes full advantage of the fact it’s the most convenient place to stop for food when going towards te araroa. Extremely over priced, bad quality food and rude customer service.
Paid something like $45 to wait 40 minutes for cold chips and a burnt coffee. After 35 minutes my partner told me to return to the car as I had been holding our 1 year old the entire wait inside. When he came out with the extremely over priced cold chips and burnt coffee he said he suspected they weren’t sober. This was around 4pm last sunday.
Sometimes you need a trip to a place like Waihau Bay to realise we live in paradise, we have wonderful people and Waihau Bay has a small community with a cool little store. The food, the coffee, the smiles. Thank you for looking after us. Keep us in touch if you get anymore hoodies X
