Long Beach - Waikanae New Zealand

Just had a lovely evening at Long Beach. Sat outside in the courtyard till the sun went down and the lights come on. Beautiful food pizza was amazing! The Raspberry Drop cocktail was just delicious. The wait staff were super friendly and nothing was a problem. A super relaxed evening. Thanks Long Beach.

What an amazing place! Crisp fresh vegetables from Long Beach's bountiful garden and delicious fresh snapper, served quickly by our friendly waitress you really have created something special down at Waikanae beach, Todd and team!

My family and I came in for brunch (group of 10) and ordered a variety of meals many coming with poached eggs.. the food looked amazing coming out, only issue is our eggs were all over cooked.. we informed the lovely staff on that day to which they quickly took care of the situation and emerged not even 10 minutes later with 12 perfectly poached replacement eggs with an edible flower next to them as a nice touch.. The food was yum! And having fully redeemed themselves with the eggs, we were so happy with our experience we returned the next day with 3 more friends joining us! Again a big group to cook for and all our meals were delicious, and the coffee was great too!! I must mention Kiri our waitress too, we had her on both days and this girl deserves a pay rise! Her service was outstanding, friendly, welcoming and efficient, she anticipated and took care of our every need.. lovely lovely girl.. Thank you Long beach for your hospitality. We will be back. x

The food is always delicious. The staff are super friendly and the setting is perfect if you love gardens and the beach. Our favorite place on the coast for a meal or a beer/wine.
