Now DIESES is a great restaurant with great food and ambience. If you live in Kohala Hotels, break from there and try a local fare with the Good Luck Pueo (Local Owl), which is a lucky symbol for Hawaii People. Food was great and service excellent.

You won't regret the drive to the village to eat here! It's always busy so be sure to make reservations. They make their pasta in house and their desserts are to die for. My favorite is the tiramisu. I eat here pretty often and the service is always top notch!

Absolutely scrumptious Italian food selections. Eclectic cocktails and unique appetizers. Attentive service however, seating turnover is a reality because of the popularity. Reservations highly suggested.

Recommended by a local, this restaurant did not disappoint. The menu offered a variety of options, and the daily specials were both fantastic and creative. I started with thinly pounded ahi accompanied by spices, olives, and a wonderfully tangy half-spicy sauce. For my main dish, I tried the swordfish, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender—something I typically avoid since swordfish can often be tough. However, this was exceptionally delicate and flavorful. We will definitely be returning with friends!
