Bidra med feedbackUncle Steve and the rest of the staff were wonderful, very welcoming! Clean, homey type eatery. My first time there and I came at end of lunch line service, so they made me a mix plate to taste a little of everything! It is all Awesome! A Great Hole in the Wall Hidden Gem! A must try! My new favorite spot for some local grinds with lots of Aloha!
We had some Fried Manapua from here today and was not disappointed! Quality food with amazing service (Thank you Jin) Would recommend it to everyone.
Do NOT pass up Honolulu Kitchen. They have some of the best manapuas ever. Such a small little kitchen but they also offer bentos, boba, and more. The owner is so sweet and always offers us samples! We got a whole box for under $30 and they were amazing. Spicy pork and Ube are the best! So is the spinach mozzarella. It's to die for. Swing by next time you're in the area!
I strongly recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious, staff is great, the owner helps so many in the community. I was truly blessed to have met him today. The baked char sui manapua here is my islandwide favorite.
We dropped by for some manapua and ended up leaving with a lot more, haha! The staff was super friendly. Although we had to wait a bit, they surprised us with samples, which was a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend trying the pork hash – we had some from Seven Eleven earlier, but it was so much better here. The Musubi looked super fresh and delicious, and the prices were really good compared to places like Seven Eleven. The manapuas are just the right size for sampling a few so get a couple when you visit. The only baked one is the Charsui, but the other flavors can be steamed or fried, and they're easy to identify by the symbols on top. And make sure you grab a pack of their yummy almond cookies – they're totally worth it! We're so glad we stopped by and supported this awesome local business and recommend you visit there as well!
