This place has gone downhill. Extremely slow service. Dinner for 6 took 2 hours. definitely not the same experience it used to be which is a shame given how convenient it is for Wake Forest. Drinks from the bar took 20 minutes to make. Food was subpar and came out lukewarm.
Food and appetizers came out at same time which is not preferred.
Overall our visit was as good as normal. However, the new recipe for the Vegetarian Chili Relleno hit the family hard. This dish is the main reason we patron Gonza’s. Now that the recipe has changed to a more cauliflower based ingredient, it seems that our years of frequenting this establishment has ended. RIP, the one and true Vegetarian Chili Relleno.
Always a delicious meal and great/attentive service! Love that they take reservations!!!
