My Place Tavern - Wake Forest

Great food at very reasonable prices. Easy to get to and fantastic atmosphere. Wonderful staff who really care! Be sure and try the western BBQ sandwich it is a winner. Also My Place offers fun activities check the schedule. We hold our networking events here monthly and there's plenty of room for dozens of people.

Great and friendly service. The environment is warm and friendly, too. Not your usual noisy sports pub. The chili was delicious and really hit the spot on a cold day. The Greek Salad was the perfect complement to the Chili. I will enjoy coming back!

I can 't say enough about how awesome 'My Place ' is. The management of this restaurant is top notch. The food is awesome. I 've lived in Wake Forest and the Triangle for over 20 years this place is a rare find. It has that small town hospitality and kindness that I 've not seen very often since moving here. I grew up in 'Small Town NC ' and worked at a place very similar to this growing up. My Place just feels like home!!

Went for lunch recently solid 3 stars. Waitress couldn't have been nicer and was very attentive. Chicken fingers were average, Catalina dressing for salad was mediocre. Spinach and artichoke dip was okay. Nothing awful but nothing stand out either.

Came here after another restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Christmas Eve. My husband and I have driven by this restaurant several times and I've always commented that we should go and check it out. So we finally did! We stopped in for dinner when my parents were in town for the holidays and were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was not your typical barfood as this is a tavern, we received friendly service and incredible entrées all at a reasonable price. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant in the near future. Highly recommend. My husband and mother had the chicken carbonara and said it was excellent and spiced perfectly. I enjoyed a wonderful fire house burger that was cooked to perfection with jalapeños and crispy onion straws. The sweet potato fries were delicious as well. We normally don't have dessert however we decided to treat ourselves as it was the holidays. We ordered the cheesecake crème brûlée and it was absolutely wonderful! Our server was a tentative and very sweet. The atmosphere is your typical bar or tavern look. Was very busy for a holiday eve. This restaurant always has a full parking lot so that was one of the reasons we wanted to visit, the bar area of the restaurant seemed to be doing very well, this may be the reason for all the cars in the parking lot. Absolutely loved our food, check it out!
