Chili's Grill - Waldorf

We had a wonderful time during our stay and dining experience. The food was delicious, although it could have been served a bit hotter and faster. Nonetheless, I was very satisfied with the portion sizes and the orders for all six of us, including drinks.

My husband and I visit on Thursdays, and we always have a fantastic time. We get to meet new people, the food is delicious, and Taneisha, our bartender and server, consistently provides outstanding hospitality.

We decided to check out this restaurant while we were out shopping and feeling hungry. To our surprise, it was quite quiet when we arrived, with only a few customers present, and the hostess was preoccupied on her phone. However, she greeted us promptly and seated us right away. Our waiter came over quickly, provided drink recommendations, and took our order without delay. Although he was a bit inexperienced and unprofessional, he was attentive and helpful. The food was decent bar fare, and the drinks were enjoyable as well. The restaurant was clean, and everything seemed to run smoothly. If you're in the area, it's worth giving them a try!

We were a party of four, including my infant son and three-year-old daughter, and we had three different waiters attending to us, yet it still took an eternity for them to prepare my drink. My wife ordered ribs with BBQ sauce, but they arrived without any sauce. One of the waitresses came to our table smelling of marijuana and struggled to use the ordering tablet. My wife also ordered drinks that were supposed to include pineapples, but they came with cherries instead. We had high hopes for the molten lava cake, which was supposed to have melted chocolate in the center, but when it arrived, the chocolate was hard as a rock. To top it off, they only provided us with one spoon, forcing my family to share it for dessert. When I brought these issues to the manager's attention, she informed me that one of the waitresses was new. As a gesture, she reduced our $100 bill to $65. However, I still felt that was too much considering the poor service we experienced. I've been to many restaurants, from fine dining to local favorites, and this was by far the worst.

I wish I had something positive to say about this place, but our experience was quite disappointing. We visited on a Friday night when the restaurant was nearly empty, yet we still waited at the entrance to be seated while an employee played on their phone and overlooked us. Once we were finally seated, we found ourselves at a table that was really sticky, and we had to wait again since our waiter was nowhere to be found. When he finally arrived, we decided to place our entire order right away to avoid being ignored again after receiving our drinks. Unfortunately, the water tasted like chlorine, the chips were mostly stale, and the corn on the cob looked like it belonged in the popcorn bowl. I can say with certainty that I will not return to this location.
