Shark Seafood House - Waldorf

My sister, nephew, and I visited Shark Bar for dinner on Saturday, March 19, 2022, and it was our first experience there. The staff was very friendly, and our server, Ms. Irene, was fantastic. They communicated well about the restaurant being busy with a party of 30, which caused some delays in the kitchen. It took about 45 minutes for us to receive our food. I started with the fried shrimp as an appetizer and then tried the stuffed salmon with crab for my main course, accompanied by spinach and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! My sister ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta (not pictured), while my nephew had a lobster with fries and corn on the cob. Despite the long wait, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning to enjoy more food and the lively night scene!

I really like this place, and the staff is incredibly accommodating. My only complaint is that the prices don’t quite fit the location; $7.50 for a domestic beer seems a bit steep. I visited on a Saturday night for the first time and had a fantastic time listening to an amazing band. The $25 cover charge felt reasonable after enjoying their performance. We also tried the lemon pepper wings, which were delicious.

I had a wonderful time at this Black-owned restaurant. It provides all the elements for a fantastic night out: tasty food, hookah, and live music. However, the kitchen's consistency could be improved; on one occasion, my two orders of wings were quite different from each other. The strawberry Long Island drink was superb, and the lobster was outstanding! I really enjoyed the outdoor hookah lounge, but the furniture needs replacing, and the hookahs could use a thorough cleaning. Upgrading to a higher quality shisha would certainly elevate the overall experience!

I dined at this restaurant for the first time and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The $240 (including tip) was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was charming, enhanced by great R&B and Motown music in the background. Our waitress, T, was fantastic—always cheerful and full of smiles. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
