The monastery is really beautiful. In any case, if you are in the area. The monastery restaurant is not recommended, therefore 1 star deduction. In Waldsassen there are definitely restaurants with better food and under 1 hour waiting for food. That was impossible...
After a visit to the monastery library and the basilica, we enjoyed our lunch. Very nice service and super delicious food. Great portions and reasonable price. Only to recommend.

The monastery is an eyewitness for connoisseurs of architecture and history. A must is the visit to the library. Klosterladen and Gastronomy complete a beautiful tour. One day you don't forget.
