La Tortuga - Walldorf

Beautiful ambiente and great eating. cheap and good for small and large groups. the Spinat dip was delicious!

Every year we attend an event at Hockenheimring and during our stay in Walldorf, we visit La Tortuga at least 3 or 4 times each year during our stay (since 2015). Each time the food and service is superb. There is a small outside area...where you can dine al fresco or you can dine inside the restaurant. Both are plenty dining experiences. Hidden down a side street off the main road through the town, be sure to pay this place a visit. Great menu choices and great value for money.

We have been here before some years ago and decided to go again. It is not so far from where we live and as we booked in advance we had a nice table. Service and friendliness were ok although no or very poor sense of...humour. We ordered a paella for 2 and were quite disappointed. The paella had not much to do with the ones we usually eat in Spain. It was more rice than seaafod and a bit of chicken. We dediced to leave after the main course and had a fantastic ice cream as desert very close by in the pedestrian area. Cannot recommend this restaurant

Well equipped and spacious restaurant. Good quality tapas and nice wine list. attentive staff, average price level. Better reserve tables for larger groups.

We had a great evening. As requested we sat in a quiet corner of the restaurant as it can be quite loud during busy times. Drinks and food were delivered timely and were quite tasty. The tapas platter was a great choice as we could...try various dishes and joyfully share.
