Bidra med feedbackFantastic experience with great wait staff and a tasty burger! Also a wonderful use of an old bank neat atmosphere.
A day later I’m still thinking about their rigatoni Bolognese. Went with a party of 5 and everyone loved their meal and everyone had leftovers. Had a fantastic night out!! Loved it! Ive only ever gone for drinks and apps! So glad I came for dinner!! Dishes were all amazingly fantastic and over the top delicious!
Really good meal, start to finish. Tried black garlic (on roasted chicken) for the first time... It did not disappoint. Portions were generous. Bread pudding dessert was exceptional. Very nice service as well.
What a fabulous night! The food was exquisite and because I have severe food allergies, I can rarely say that. So often restaurants have to modify their offerings to accommodate my allergies that all the special taste is modified right out of the dish. No so at J. Christians! Our server went so far as to ask how the risotto was made, found out one of the allergens was in it and saved me from an uncomfortable discovery. So grateful she went the extra mile for me! But what was so amazing was that even the modified dishes were so flavorful delicious. Terrific night out!
The food is delicious, and on Thursdays, they offer a $32 prix fixe menu that includes a starter, main course, and dessert. Just a heads-up—it’s not included with the main menu, so you may need to ask for it. We opted for the prix fixe menu and were very pleased with our choice! The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value. I recommend saving some of your starter and main course for later to leave room for dessert. We started off with some bread accompanied by a bean mixture, which was just average, so I was glad I didn't overindulge on that. For appetizers, my husband tried the tuna nachos and absolutely loved them! I had the Brussels sprouts, which were great, balancing a bit of bitterness with sweetness and enhanced by some bacon. For our main courses, my husband ordered the chicken scarpiello and thought it was excellent; I enjoyed it too when I tried a bite. I had the short rib with parmesan polenta, and it was cooked to perfection—the meat was so tender it fell apart easily, and the polenta was some of the best I've ever tasted. For dessert, we both chose the bread pudding. It was divine! I usually dislike mushy bread pudding, but this one was pleasantly firm and incredibly tasty. The only downside was that we were both quite full by the end of our meal—definitely a first-world problem! Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant. Don’t hesitate to pay a visit!
