Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant offers fresh and delicious vegetarian dishes. The drinks are enjoyable, although they could use a bit more alcohol. The Edamame guacamole is fantastic and suitable for children. The double veggie beet burger is surprisingly filling but easier to handle than anticipated. The kids cheese pizza is a decent portion size. The juices are a refreshing option on a hot day.
True Food Kitchen has multiple locations, and we visited the Concord location tonight. The restaurant has a spacious layout with a lively ambiance. We tried the local craft beer Coast, a light pale ale, and a vodka-based cocktail called Sunrise, both of which were good. The beer was slightly sweet and pleasant, while the cocktail had a refreshing citrus taste from the lemon and a nice vodka backdrop. For appetizers, we ordered the edamame guacamole with pita and charred cauliflower, both of which were tasty. The charred cauliflower had a nice charred flavor with a great sauce, enhanced by the addition of dates. The edamame guacamole with pea was delicious, with a nice garlic flavor and citrus freshness complemented by the richness of the avocado. The peas chips were crispy. For mains, we ordered the All Grains Bowl and the mushroom pizza with vegan ricotta and caramelized onions. The pizza crust was delicious, and we enjoyed the combination of mushroom, ricotta, and onions. The All Grains Bowl featured miso glazed sweet potato, green pesto, sautéed mushrooms, and quinoa. The pesto was fresh and flavorful, the mushrooms were well-cooked with an earthy taste that paired well with the pesto, and the miso-glazed sweet potatoes were a unique and enjoyable addition. The service was quick, and the staff were professional and polite, making for a great overall dining experience.
I love visiting True Foods for their refreshing limeade and delicious grain bowl! The food is always tasty, the interior and patio are both lovely. The staff is friendly and well-informed about the menu. One of my top choices is the key lime pie, which isn't always available but a must-have when it is!
We sat in the outdoor section with heaters. The inside is noisy. I had the chicken sausage pizza, Wife had the steak tacos daughter had the kids pizza. The pizzas were good, my Wife wasn't thrilled with the tacos. Also did you know they don't have soda here? We thought that was odd. They could carry a natural soda? They have beer so I was . The service was very good!
If there is one sentence to describe this place, it would be “Making brunches balanced and healthier” Menu has an assortment of foods, from tacos to teriyaki bowls to spicy panang curry. Everything is balanced from a nutrition perspective carb, veggies and protein. This place has plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. What to try 1. Spicy panang curry extremely flavorful and rich. 2. Grilled chicken and panini sandwich every bit feels fresh. Comes with a side of potatoes or kale salad both delicious. 3. Seasonal margaritas best, fresh margaritas. Not the typical watered down, sweet version 4. Coffee is good here as well Ambience itself is refreshing. It’s usually crowded during weekends so expect a 15 min wait on average.
