The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, and the service is impressively quick. The prices are reasonable for the freshly prepared dishes. They offer a wide variety of salsas at the salsa bar, making it a great option for vegan and vegetarian diners.

Fresh Cal Mex offers sustainably sourced seafood that is ethically grown. While it is a bit pricey at Rubio's, it's the only fast-casual Mexican restaurant I know that serves beer. I really enjoy their sauces and salsas from the spice bar, especially the chipotle. The interior has a lovely vibe, but the service was quite slow during my visit, so they kindly gave us a complimentary $10.00 credit for our next visit.

Claudia was amazing! She recommended a combo plate instead of ordering the shrimp tacos à la carte, and I'm really glad she did! The beans and chips that came with it were delicious! Make sure to try the hot red sauce—it's perfect mixed into the beans or added to the tacos! *Koch Kuss*! She also gave my daughter crayons and a coloring page while we waited, which I truly appreciated. Thank you!

I visited for Tuesday special on the fish Tacos and I was very satisfied. the portion size is quite good and the taste itself was also good. the price is good and the location is beautiful. I hope to come back soon and try something else on another day because there were many different options on the menu.
