We LOVE this restaurant!! And ALI you rock for the great service. We popped in unexpectedly and didn't mind sitting in the middle of the dining room right by the front door. The hostess was happy to seat us knowing the full reservations that lie ahead. The place is located out in the country along art 248 in Lehigh Twsp.. At our last visit in August, I asked chef when those sweet semolina triangles would return to menu and he shared in the Fall. So, this nice brisk November afternoon, we decided to visit for some more culinary delights. Scallop Rouelen is an appetizer plateful of fresh asparagus, huge slices of mushrooms, dotted with sea scallops atop a bed of fettuccine. My go to! The pork braciole entree plate full of roasted potatoes, mushrooms and four rounds of pork braciole sitting in this delicious flavorful sauce. Those sweet semolina additions are awesome. The Hungarian who loves Italian always orders the veal parmigiana with linguine, extra sauce! And lastly, the lamb chops appetizer accompanied by polenta and risotto. Great job, Paola and Eric for all the palate pleasing plates.
Top Italian restaurant in the valley! It is always busy so be sure to make a reservation before going. The menu is soo large that deciding your meal is so tough but the specials they have are always amazing too! The waitstaff is so nice attentive. It's BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle of wine you'll have an amazing time! Shrimp primavera is filled with vegetables and a good amount of shrimp. Their pink sauce is my favorite hands down!! Dessert options are endless but the Oreo cheesecake was too good to pass up! I left there stuffed still had leftovers. Can't wait to go back!!
I 'd been telling my mom for nearly a year how great A Ca Mia was. The only time I 'd been there before was for a family birthday dinner. Every dish was amazing. After building it up as I did, I was disappointed that it was nothing as I remembered. First, I got stuck in traffic and asked my mom and uncle to check in without me. They weren 't allowed to be seated. Now I get it when a place is busy, but it was very early in the evening (nearly early bird special time and hardly anyone was there. I arrived 10 minutes late and checked in with a ridiculously rude teenager. He seated us outside right in between two other occupied tables. There were about 5 other empty tables outside under the tent. I asked if we could move. He said no because other people reserved those tables. Really? Hi, I 'd like to specifically reserve the table second from the end of the tent on the left side. (roll eyes here Though not necessarily the restaurant 's fault, there were a lot of flies buzzing around and a couple of ants on the table. Server Amanda was great. My uncle borders on embarrassing when out and she tolerated his jesting and sarcasm with patience and, I 'm choosing to assume, a smile behind her mask. The meal was a disappointment from the get-go. Rolls were blah. Salad was blah (and had no croutons, my uncle added. I 'd been craving their veal parmigiana for months, but from the first bite I knew it wasn 't the same. I apologized to my mom.
