Waffle House - Walterboro

We were just there for breakfast and it was great! We were served by Kayle, and she was fantastic! We love going to Waffle Houses when we come to the US, and I must say that they are all great, but I really like this one! How the staff interacted together, they definitely were like a team. It was just a really great breakfast and experience! Thank you!

My spouse and I made a dinner stop here on our journey towards home from Florida. This was a random pit stop, and we're so glad we found this place. This Waffle House is the best location I've ever been to. The staff are the true gems of this restaurant. Ashley. C and April were such great servers. They are well mannered and very friendly. Alex was running the show at the grill, cooking single-handedly for an entire restaurant full of people. He was impressive to watch coordinating so many meals at once. Even being so busy, he'd check in with patrons behind him to see if everything was okay with their meals. I haven't seen this true, efficient, polite wholesome American service in years. They're genuinely pleasant, and it's so refreshing to see these team members working in sync with each other and happy while doing their jobs. We enjoyed our meals a lot. I ate the chicken hash brown bowl with onions, and my spouse had the bacon patty melt. Both meals were well portioned and reasonably priced. If we ever come back through this area, we'll definitely return.

Great food most of the time. Sometimes, the cooks like to cook the food the way he she wants to cook and not the way that it may be ordered. The restaurants truly need to be bigger at some locations. The waitress was extremely friendly and very kind however the cook was doing nothing but complaining about his job and one of the waitresses handed him some money to check to see if it was counterfeit and the same gloves he was using to cook with he took the money held it up in the air gave it back to her and then went back to using those same gloves to touch the food. Not cool...
