Bidra med feedbackDue to the rainy weather, we decided to ditch our plans to go for a walk and instead headed to this pub for a meal. I imagine that on a sunny day in the summertime, this place would be bustling, but there were only a few people there so getting a table was no problem. The menu at this pub is classic and the prices were quite reasonable. The food we ordered was delicious. We noticed that two other diners across from us had ordered the pies, which looked huge. The service was great.
The breakfast at this restaurant is delicious. The service, atmosphere, and food all receive a top score of 5.
My partner and I were looking for somewhere to grab lunch in the afternoon on NYE. I found the Horseshoes on a Google search, so booked a table as it looked good. It's a cute little countryside feel, cozy pub. Upon first looking at the menu (which has quite a lot of options), the prices seemed slightly higher than some other places in the area, but the waiting staff said that the portions come out large they weren't wrong! Food was very good and excellent value for money. I had the sausage and mash, and a side of onion rings. My other half had the pork bellies and we shared a side of cream spinach. Was all great. Total bill came to £50 (including one alcoholic drink and a soft drink). Staff were attentive and friendly. Food came out fairly quickly. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options.
Absolutely love this place. The welcome, food and atmosphere are fantastic. Love the ham, egg and homemade chips too! 5 stars! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food and atmosphere was very good but let down by the service. When our plates were collected we were not asked if we would like a desert or coffee i stead we was presented with the bill and told to get out as they had other people waiting for the table. Our table was booked for 3.00pm and it was only 4.25pm. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
