We dined at the restaurant on a Saturday night with our three sons. My husband had enjoyed takeaway from there before but while we were staying in Geelong we thought we'd dine in. Big mistake.Admittedly there was a large table dining as well so the chefs were busy. However there weren't many other tables. We had to wait 45 minutes for our entree of dim sims, spring rolls and 1 short soup. Waiting that long is not much fun for a 6 year old. Then another 45 minute wait for our mains. The staff never bothered to apologise for the wait. The food was tasty, I enjoyed the Mongolian beef and the servings were generous. If you want a quick meal I would recommend getting takeaway!
Excellent Chinese food. Small restaurant, but great also for takeaway. Furnishings/surroundings not fabulous, but food more than makes up for it.
Good quality Chinese food in quiet location which is actually an old fire station. Price is reasonable for the quality and they have many repeat customers.Atmosphere is good if eating in, better than most Chinese restaurants in the area.Great for eat in or take away meals, but can get busy at peak times so it might be advisable to order take away food well in advance at peak times.
We ordered take away from here as we remembered in the past how good it was - oh how wrong we were. The prawn and the scallop fritters were tasteless, the Shun Choi Bao was so totally different to any we had had before and we threw it out and as for the banana fritter we had to recook that at home as the banana was still cold. On the plus side the sesame prawn toast was ok . We agree with other comments that when they say it will be ready in 20 minutes allow an hour. Needless to say we will never be back. There are much better places in the area.
