Thai Girder - Wandsworth

The food is all fresh and made at the restaurant. And you can tell. The depth of flavour of the sauces is incredible. I love all the food there, but the vegetarian red curry is really superb my favourite. I buy a takeaway, enjoy it with jasmine rice, and save a third of the red curry for the next day and make my own rice. The portions are big enough. So, I get 2 meals, over 2 days for about a tenner.

This restaurant offers traditional Thai dishes that are sure to please a crowd without any pretentions. We ordered seven dishes and each one was equally enjoyable and delicious, with generous portion sizes. The owner even suggested we were ordering too much, but with a hungry son to feed, we had no problem finishing everything. The small restaurant has a lively atmosphere when busy, and the hardworking owner adds to the fun experience with her infectious charm. She must be exhausted by the end of the night!

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Every time we try Thai food elsewhere, it never compares to Thai Girder. I especially enjoy the vegetable dish with cashew nuts and the mushroom satay.

We ordered a take away, the food was tasteless and bland, so much so we ordered from another restaurant. I have emailed the restaurant and still no reply, so adding to the terrible food is poor customer service too.
